Foxcroft Academy is an independent high school based on the principle that knowledge is power.

Founded in 1823, Foxcroft Academy is committed to providing students from central Maine and beyond a rigorous college and career preparatory academic curriculum designed to produce informed and active global citizens. With a storied history that has stood the test of time, Foxcroft Academy is also a school very much on the rise, and colleges around the nation have taken notice, as students from the Classes of 2014-2016 received acceptance letters from many schools ranked in the top 100 of the 2016 U.S. News and World Report’s rankings.

Located in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine (population 4,000), Foxcroft Academy serves tuitioned day students from 13 Maine communities as well as domestic and international boarding students from 14 countries. Surrounded by pristine lakes, mountains, rivers, and woods, Foxcroft Academy provides a safe and wholesome learning environment with an ever-evolving curriculum that helps students discover what they are passionate about.
